From time to time I notice that the blogs I read start getting a little “stale.” I still enjoy them, but it can get boring reading content–great as it may be–from the same perspective on a regular basis. When this happens, I start searching their comments section to find links to other mom blogs that I might like. Over the years I’ve found many great blogs that talk about motherhood in a funny, yet in a way which I can totally relate.
If you’re ready to freshen up your list of blogs, here are some of the best mom blogs that I’ve found:
Raising a healthy, busy family these days isn’t easy, but that’s the goal at Happy Being Healthy. Written by a mom of five (with another on the way!), Melanie shares tried and true recipes that are both yummy and healthy; gives practical advice for keeping kids active and shares tips and tricks for staying healthy.
Learn how to coupon, create a workable budget and earn extra income from a homeschooling mom of three who has helped her family stay out of debt even when her husband was in law school and they were living on less than $1000 a month. Passionate about helping other moms, especially those looking for financial advice, Crystal shares advice–sprinkled with real life examples from her past–in an inspirational and uplifting way.
Make It or Fix It Yourself
A former educator, Sharon is now a work-at-home mom of two school-age daughters. As their family transitioned from being a two-income to single-income family, she developed a knack–and enjoyment–for saving money by making or fixing things on her own. From homemade soap to developing a better solution to store those pesky plastic bags, you’ll find plenty of ways to save money by repairing or creating solutions for your home.
Blogger Piera Jolly is a mom to two and loves helping out other moms by sharing product reviews–complete with her honest experiences and feelings about the products–and giveaways with her readers. Also on her blog are crafting tips, recipes and activities to do with your kiddos.
Looking for a theme for your child’s next birthday or in need of ideas on how to re-purpose an old coffee table? Look no further than Dinah’s blog which is one of the best blogs out there when it comes to birthday party themes, DIY tips and tricks and a plethora of inspiration for turning trash into treasure.
